post and publish such notices, ordinances and <br />resolutions as may be required and shall perform such <br />other appropriate duties as may be imposed by him /her <br />by the Council. With the consent of the Council, <br />he /she may appoint a deputy for whose acts he /she <br />shall be responsible and whom he /she may remove at <br />pleasure. In case of the City Administrator's absence <br />from the municipality or disability, the Council may <br />appoint a deputy City Administrator if there is none, <br />to serve during such absence or disability. The <br />deputy may discharge any of the deputies of the City <br />Administrator except that he /she shall not be a member <br />of the Council. <br />211.040. The City Administrator must have considerable <br />knowledge of municipal government operation, proper procedures, <br />public relations, finances, purchasing and all administrative <br />requirements for proper municipal operation. He /she must have <br />knowledge of, or ability to acquire full knowledge of, all laws <br />affecting the municipality. He /she must have the ability to <br />provide harmonious relations with municipal employees and the <br />general public. He /she must have the ability to plan <br />development, to collect material and analyze for reporting and <br />to conduct and implement standards of procedure, operation and <br />organization. <br />211.050. In the absence of, or temporary vacancy in the <br />position of the City Administrator, the title of Administrator <br />and /or City Administrator as written in all ordinances and /or <br />resolutions adopted by the City Council, shall be replaced by <br />the title of City Council. <br />Section 2. <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br />PASSED by the City Council of Little Canada this day <br />of , 1989. <br />ATTEST: <br />Annette Freeman, Deputy Clerk <br />-4- <br />Michael I.
