Minutes <br />JOHNSON <br />SUBDIVISION <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />August 10, 1989 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of <br />the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was held on the 10th day of August, 1989 in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Peter Costa called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 p.m. and the following members of the Commission were <br />present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Peter Costa, Chairman <br />Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />Ms. Claudia Drabik <br />Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Dave Bendel <br />Ms. Peggy Schweizer <br />Mr. Art Herkenhoff <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the July 13, <br />1989 Commission meeting, the minutes will stand approved as <br />read. <br />Mr. Greg Johnson, 329 Savage Lane, appeared before the <br />Council requesting approval of the subdivision of his <br />property into two lots. <br />The City Planner reviewed his report regarding this <br />subdivision request, and pointed out that his only concern <br />was that there is a cul -de -sac at the end of the street that <br />there is additional right -of -way necessary for the street. <br />The Planner stated that he is not proposing the street be <br />changed at this time, but that the necessary road dedication <br />be accomplished. <br />The City Planner stated that under the subdivision process <br />the City has the right to require additional land dedication <br />for public street, if it is thought to be necessary. <br />Johnson was concerned about costs involved, and pointed out <br />that the existing cul -de -sac is adequate at this time. <br />Page -1- <br />
