MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />November 9, 1989 <br />Motion seconded by Drabik. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />FRATTALONE The City Planner reported that the Council is looking <br />RECYCLING at Frank Frattalone's bituminous recycling operation <br />OPERATION in Ryan Industrial Park. The Planner explained the <br />operation. The Planner reported that he has surveyed <br />other communities as to how they handle similar <br />operations and.most communities do allow stockpiles and <br />recycling in Industrial Districts. <br />The Planner reported that, hopefully, the City will be <br />able to set up some requirements like screening and <br />performance standards so that the operation can <br />continue in a reasonable fashion. <br />The Planner reported that he will be reporting to the <br />Council on this topic at their next meeting, and, if <br />necessary, the matter will be brought back to the <br />Commission. <br />RESIGNATION Costa informed the Commission that Peggy Schweizer <br />contacted him this evening informing him that she was <br />resigning from the Commission. Schweizer will be <br />submitting a letter of resignation. <br />ADJOURN <br />Herkenhoff moved the meeting adjourned. <br />Motion seconded by Costa. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:05 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kathy anzer <br />Recording Secretary <br />Page 13 <br />
