MINUTES <br />CUP <br />OUTDOOR <br />ADVERTISING <br />DISPLAY <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />November 9, 1989 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br />November, 1989 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Peter Costa called <br />7:30 P.M. and the following <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />Ms. <br />Mr. <br />Mr. <br />the meeting to order at <br />members of the Commission <br />Peter Costa, Chairman <br />Dave Bendel <br />Gene DeLonais <br />Claudia Drabik <br />Art Herkenhoff (arr. 8:45 P.M.) <br />Bob Pedersen <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Ms. Peggy Schweizer <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the <br />October 12, 1989 meeting, the minutes stood approved as <br />read. <br />Mr. Scott Wesch, Wescot Construction, appeared before <br />the Commission requesting approval of a Conditional <br />Use Permit to construct a modular building for outdoor <br />advertising display purposes. Wesch reported that he <br />wishes to construct a two -room display with attached <br />decking. The display would be portable and not <br />attached to the property. Wesch reported that he <br />leases a total of 1,836 square feet in office and <br />warehouse space from Minnesota Mini - Storage. <br />Wesch explained that the displays are actually <br />scaled -down versions of room additions to homes. The <br />display would be set up so that it is visible to <br />traffic and potential customers. Wesch submitted <br />pictures of the displays. <br />Page 1 <br />
