The Minnesota World Trade Conference Center is the site of the <br />Economic Outlook Forum on Thursday, November 16. A conti- <br />nental breakfast will be served at 7:15 a.m. with the forum <br />beginning promptly at 7:30 a.m. Introductory remarks by Dan <br />Jacobson from Grant Thornton will include an overview of the <br />U.S. and Minnesota economies. His remarks will be followed by <br />a moderated discussion by the featured speakers. The forum will <br />conclude at 9:00 a. in. after questions have been taken from the <br />audience. <br />"FOREWORD 1990" is the November A.M. Connection meet- <br />ing for Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce members and is <br />provided free to all of those who attend. Seats are limited to the <br />first 100 reservations. <br />SPEAKERS <br />• LOUIS COLLETTE <br />Louis Collette is vice president of Manufacturing Operations at the Unisys <br />Corporation in Roseville. During his 33 years with the Unisys Corporation, <br />he has served as director, Financial Operations; group controller; plant <br />controller, Worldwide Product Support; auditor and large scale computer <br />programmer. Collette is a board member of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of <br />Commerce and is a member of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and the <br />American Electronic Association. <br />• JUDY COOK <br />Judy Cook is president of the Minnesota Retail Merchants Association <br />(MRMA), the 1,600 member statewide business association representing all <br />facets of the retail trade industry. As one of MRMA$ executive staff, Judy <br />leads the MRMA lobbying team at the Minnesota state capitol and is <br />responsible for directing all of the association's activities. <br />A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a major in political science, <br />Judy gained political experience while employed on a U.S. Senate Campaign <br />before joining MRMA in 1933. Her background includes five years sales <br />experience with a national clothing retailer. <br />Page 9 <br />
