He serves on the board of <br />the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce and the management committee <br />for the Nlen° East Development Partnership. <br />• JEFFREY GREEN <br />Jeffrey Green is co- founder of Hutchinson Technology (HTI) located <br />in Hutchinson, Minnesota. The company manufactures critical components <br />for leading manufacturers in the computer peripheral, electronics, and <br />defense industries. <br />Green is a director of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and Minnesota <br />Business Partnership. <br />• DAN JACOBSON <br />Dan Jacobson is a manager in the Management Consulting department et <br />Grant Thornton's Minneapolis /Saint Paul office. He has an extensive back- <br />ground in economic analysis, business, management, and development con- <br />sulting for private and public sector clients. Jacobson has conducted <br />consulting projects in the areas of finance, market analysis, management and <br />administrative functions, operations, human resource systems, account and <br />cost systems, and information systems. <br />• DAVID LAIRD <br />David Laird brings more than 20 years of state government, higher education <br />finance, fundraising and college administration experience to his position as <br />president and chief executive officer of the Minnesota Private College <br />Council, Fund and Research Foundation. Prior to joining the three organisa- <br />tions in 1988, he was vice president for planning and development and <br />secretary of Carleton College. <br />Laird holds a B.A. degree in government and history and M. E. in education <br />and history from St. Lawrence University. He earned his Ph.D. from the <br />University of Michigan. <br />Page 10 <br />
