MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />October 25, 1989 <br />recommended that the property owner pay the street <br />repair costs. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89 -10 -528 - ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION <br />OF THE CITY ENGINEER AND PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT <br />REGARDING THE SEWER AND WATER CONNECTION COSTS AT 2875 <br />JACKSON STREET <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Fahey, Scalze, LaVaile. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSULTING Fahey reported that the City Engineer has recommended <br />ENGINEERING that the City solicit for a new consulting engineer <br />SERVICES rather than advertise. Fahey suggested that since the <br />new City Administrator will be on -board shortly, this <br />area should be addressed by him. Fahey reported that <br />Carley Engineering has agreed to continue their <br />services to the City for a couple of additional months <br />until a new engineering firm can be hired. <br />CITY Fahey reported that the City Council has interviewed <br />ADMINISTRATOR the top candidates for the position of City <br />Administrator and an offer is being made to one of <br />those individuals. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89 -10 -529 - AUTHORIZING SATHE AND <br />ASSOCIATES THE AUTHORITY TO NEGOTIATE A SALARY OF UP TO <br />$42,500 FOR THE POSITION OF CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. <br />Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaVaile. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />ASSESSMENT The City Engineer submitted an assessment reapportion - <br />DIVISION ment for Division #DA062438. <br />Page 28 <br />Page 19 <br />
