MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 26, 2013 <br />Attorney suggested the approach being proposed by the Public Works <br />Superintendent. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -6 -119 — AMENDING CHAPTER 1601 OF <br />THE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE, KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, RELATING TO WATER METERS AND HYDRANTS AS <br />PROPOSED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT AND <br />AMENDING THE CITY'S FEE SCHEDULE TO ESTABLISH A <br />NON - COMPLIANCE SURCHARGE RELATIVE TO THE CITY'S <br />WATER METER FIXED- NETWORK TECHNOLOGY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />DRAINAGE The City Administrator reported that the City has received a number of <br />ISSUES & calls relative to drainage issues. The Administrator reported that City <br />TREE LOSS crews are reviewing these issues to determine whether or not they are the <br />result of recent heavy rains, or if there are other contributing factors. <br />Primary areas of concern at this time appear to be within Ryan Industrial <br />Park and Iona Lane. The Administrator reported that he will keep the <br />Council updated on these issues. <br />The Administrator also noted that City Hall has been asked if it will do a <br />tree pick -up due to recent storm events. The Administrator reported that <br />while some properties have experienced significant tree loss, he did not <br />feel the issue was as widespread has it was in approximately 1990 and <br />2000. The City did undertake a tree collection program during those two <br />years. <br />It was also noted that there is currently a no wake designation on Gervais <br />Lake. <br />ADJOURN There being no further business, the meeting was.djourned at 8:55 a.m. <br />LBlesener, Mayor <br />Attes <Ct /G° /C._ <br />Joel/Hanson, City Administrator <br />12 <br />
