EXHIBIT A <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON A PROPOSAL FOR AN INDUSTRIAL <br />DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BOND PROJECT <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota, will meet in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Hall, 515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, Minnesota, <br />at 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 23, 1990, to consider the proposal <br />of EMC Corporation, a Minnesota corporation (the "Company "), that <br />the City assist in financing a projeot'hereinafter described by <br />the issuance of industrial development revenue bonds. <br />The project to be financed is an approximately 135,000 <br />square foot educational book printing and video and audio <br />tape and Computer disk duplicating facility to be located at <br />177 East County Road B in the City of Little Canada. <br />The maximum aggregate estimated principal amount of the <br />bonds or other obligations to be issued to finance this project <br />is $6,500,000. The project will be initially owned and operated <br />by the Company. <br />The bonds or other obligations if and when issued will not <br />constitute a charge, lien or encumbrance upon any property of the <br />City except the project and such bonds or obligations will not be <br />a charge against the City's general credit or taxing powers but <br />will be payable from sums to be paid by the Company pursuant to a <br />revenue agreement. <br />A draft copy of the proposed application to the Minnesota <br />Department of Trade and Economic Development, State of Minnesota, <br />for approval of the project, together with all attachments and <br />exhibits thereto, is available for public inspection from 8:00 <br />A,M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, at the City <br />Administrator's Office, in the City of Little Canada, Minnesota. <br />At the time and place fixed for the Public Hearing, the City <br />Council of the City of Little Canada will give all persons who <br />appear at the hearing an opportunity to express their views with <br />respect to the proposal. <br />1855 <br />BY ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />BY ts/ Joel Hanson <br />City Administrator <br />Paco iqg <br />6 39dd 22Eh290907,10N (Idd) <br />dS Hb9dOW 599Id8 WOdd <br />
