The Commission should review this information and decide upon a <br />recommendation for City Council action. Following are some <br />optional alternatives: <br />1. Leave Ordinance as is. <br />2. Keep maximum of two but allow one to be separate tenant <br />sign. <br />3. Allow outlot tenants /owners additional signs over the two <br />shopping center signs. <br />If the third option is chosen, we would recommend a conditional <br />use permit process which requires consideration of the following <br />issues: <br />o Architectural compliance with shopping center design. <br />o Maximum of one sign per 200 feet of frontage. <br />o Sign size based on outlot development, not total center <br />size. <br />o Restriction on temporary signs on the property. <br />Please see the attached survey form and summary. <br />cc: Joel Hanson <br />Kathy Glanzer <br />Tom Sweeney <br />John Palacio <br />Don Carley <br />Page 32 <br />
