Hennessey reported
that she is currently operating a home day care center
at 101 Yorkton Ridge and she cares for 12 children at
the center. The center is licensed by the County.
However, Hennessey stated that she would like to obtain
a State license so that she can have 14 children so
that two of the existing families can each bring one
more child to the center. In order to obtain a State
license, the municipality in which the center is
located must also grant approval. Hennessey pointed
out that since the two additional children will be from
families that already use her center, there will be no
increase in traffic.
Page 1
