may contract with other engineering service consultants for the <br />performance of any of the services hereinafter described. <br />1.1.2. The Consultant's Basic Services shall consist of the <br />Preliminary Report Phase, the Design Phase, the Bidding Phase, the <br />Construction Phase and preparation of Assessment Roll Phase. <br />1.1.3. The Consultant will conduct his contact with the City through <br />the City Administrator and Public Works Superintendent in accordance <br />with the adopted Administrative Code of the City of Little Canada. <br />1.2. Preliminary Report Phase <br />Upon receipt of the City's authorization to proceed with the <br />Preliminary Report Phase the Consultant shall: <br />1.2.1. Consult with the City to ascertain the City's requirements <br />for the project. <br />1.2.2. Perform field surveys, investigations, studies and other <br />tasks, determined to be necessary to complete a study and preliminary <br />report for the project. <br />1.2.3. Prepare and submit to the City a Comprehensive Engineering <br />and Feasibility Report on the Project. This Report shall indicate <br />the scope of the Project and shall specifically cover at least the <br />following subjects: Preliminary design; cost estimate; list of <br />permits required from other governmental and administrative bodies; <br />project sketches; proposed funding sources; and such other <br />information and data as are required to fully inform the City as to <br />the proposed project including the identification of viable <br />alternatives. The Report shall be compiled in appropriate form and <br />twelve (12) copies thereof shall be submitted to the City five (5) <br />working days before review by the City Council. <br />Page 2 <br />Page 17 <br />
