1.2.4. Prepare, if directed by the City, alternative designs for all <br />or part of the proposed Project including cost estimates, sketches, <br />and permit requirements. <br />1.2.5. Outline, in sufficient detail to enable the City to make <br />reasonable judgments thereon, the anticipated permanent and temporary <br />easements and rights -of -way needed for the construction of the <br />Project. <br />1.2.6. Present the data contained in the Report to the City Council <br />at public meeting(s) with the use of maps and diagrams which depict <br />the nature and location of the Project. <br />1.3. Design Phase <br />Upon receipt of City Council authorization to implement the <br />Preliminary Report, and to proceed with the Design Phase the <br />Consultant shall: <br />1.3.1. Conduct field design surveys, design and prepare detailed <br />working plans and specifications for the Project. During the <br />consideration and preparation of said designs, plans and <br />specifications, the Consultant shall periodically consult with the <br />City to insure the City's desires with respect to the Project are <br />being satisfied. Upon completion of the plans and specifications the <br />Consultant shall submit two (2) copies for review by the City five <br />(5) working days prior to review and approval by the City Council at <br />a public meeting. <br />1.3.2. Prepare Contract Documents which shall include construction <br />agreement forms, payment and performance bond forms, general <br />conditions, special provisions, detailed construction drawings, <br />specifications and proposal forms.
