Office of:
JOEL R. HANSON, Administrator
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
612-484-2177
FAX: 612. 484.4538
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Fahey and Members of the City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: May 4, 1990
RE: Property Valuation Services
MAYOR
Michael Fahey
Attached is a proposal received from the League of
Minnesota Cities regarding property valuation services.
Also, attached is a copy from our current insurance policy
property listing showing the structures and the values
associated with each. When reviewing the valuations
associated with our major structures (Fire Hall, City Hall,
Public Works Garage, etc.), we should attempt to ensure
their adequacy. Therefore, I am giving you this material
to review from the standpoint that if you feel values
associated with our major buildings are inadequate, the
proposal from the League of Minnesota Cities would be worth
pursuing. If you feel the valuation figures are adequate
or if appraisals have been conducted recently, then I would
not recommend utilization of these services.
Please review this information and provide me with the
necessary direction at Wednesday's meeting.
JRH:kpv
Enclosures
iige 46
COUNCIL
Beverly Sca IZe
Bill Blesener
Rick Collove
Jim LaVelle
