The change being considered regards the
definition of separate "frontages" for the purpose of allowing
one sign per frontage. We have re- contacted several Metropolitan
Area communities to discover what these requirements may mean in
their cities. We have prepared a brief summary of this
information and a graphic example to illustrate the areas.
Bloomington
o Allows one shopping center identification sign per frontage.
o Allows separate outlots a separate freestanding sign.
o Requires shopping center signs to maintain 10 foot setback
from all lot lines.
o Requires other signs to maintain 20 foot setbacks.
Roseville
o Allows shopping centers three shopping center identification
signs.
o Requires setbacks of 30 feet from street right -of -way and 60
feet from side lot lines.
4601 Excelsior Blvd. •Suite 410 • Minne o , P4112 55416 • (612) 925-9420 • Fax 925-2721
