HealthEast $?
City of Little Canada,
Midway Hospital
1700 University Avenue West
51. Paul, MN 55104
612-641 -5500
This is a letter to file for a hardship clause, for the intent to build a new
home on the existing property at 3033 Arcade St. Little Canada.
The existing home is about 45 years old and quite small. We have contacted a couple
of contractors about possibly remodeling and their opinions were that the remodeling
costs and bringing it up to today's codes would Cost more than to build a new home.
Pictures are enclosed of present home.
Our proposal is to build a new home (which pictures are enclosed) on the property in
front of the old house, and tear down the old house after closing on the new one.
We feel this new home will be an asset to the community .
The contractor doesn't see any problems with us living in our present home while the new
one is being built because the old house sits far enough back.
We now feel we do not need the acreage we presently have. We subdivided the property
into 3 lots, in which the two back lots will be sold to our contractor, Dave Morris.
He has agreed to buy and put a road through to the end of the property and build 2
houses if this proposal is passed. The new road would be an extension of what is
Lec.ussrci
currently latisOrd Road.
Thank you for your time
Sincerely,
-'j4 _ S ta94_,C Page 46
