MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 27, 2001 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4) Blesener, Ntontour, Allan, Pahey. Nays (1) Allau. Resolution declared adopted. CUP - Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider a Conditional Use Permit TOWER/ to allow installation of a 40-foot high antenna tower at the Little Canada ANTENNA Water Booster Station at 141 East County Road B. He noted that the AT CITY Planning Conunission has recommended approval of the CUP. BOOSTER STATION The Public Works Director explained in detail the difficulty that the City has had in transmitting signals from the water tower to its water booster station via a dedicated telephone line. In looking at the available options, it was determined that an antenna system was the best sotution. The system proposed would provide for bi-lateral communications between the two facilities. The ,Director explained the importance of maintaining appropriate water levels in the water tower for the City's water supply for residential usage and for fire protection. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Fahey, the public hearing was closed. NIr.
