Public Forum <br />Northeast Corridor Light Rail Transit Alignment Study <br />Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority <br />Monday, July 23, 1990 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />Location - East Branch YMCA <br />1075 Arcade Street <br />St. Paul, Minnesota <br />The Northeast Corridor extends generally <br />from downtown St. Paul to White Bear Lake <br />and from Rice Street to Century Avenue. <br />This public forum will provide residents <br />an opportunity to discuss future plans <br />for light rail transit in the Northeast Corridor. <br />The alignment study is reviewing specific <br />alternative locations for possible LRT service <br />and the potential impacts of those <br />alternatives on transit ridership, traffic <br />congestion and nearby neighborhoods. <br />A variety of potential alignments are being <br />considered for connection from downtown <br />St. Paui to the Maplewood Mall Area and /or <br />White Bear Lake. Residents are encouraged <br />to ask questions and comment on plans for <br />LRT in this corridor.
