Office of:
JOEL R. HANSON, Administrator
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
612. 4842177
FAX: 612-484-4538
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
MAYOR
Michael Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Bill Blesener
Rick Collova
Jim LaValle
MEMORANDUM
TO: City of Little Canada Residents
FROM: City of Little Canada
DATE: July 10, 1990
RE: Tree /Brush Removal
The City has made arrangements with Precision Tree, Inc. of Little Canada
to pick up trees and brush beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16,
1990. We expect this cleanup operation to last about one week. The
service is being provided without charge to our residents through the
generosity of Servants of Mary of Little Canada Bingo Hall. To
participate in this pickup, you must comply with the following conditions:
* Only materials related to tree removal (excluding stumps) will be
picked up. No other materials such as boards, posts, or other
debris will be allowed. The presence of prohibited items will
result in your pile not being picked up. You will then be
responsible for its removal.
* All acceptable material must be stacked at curbside, adjacent to
the roadway. No pickup will be made away from the roadway.
Materials should be neatly stacked with cut ends facing the
street.
* On material larger than three inches (3 ") in diameter, the pieces
should be a minimum of four feet (4') in length. Any pieces
shorter in length will be considered firewood and will not be
picked up by Precision Tree.
Precision Tree will be making two trips through the entire City. The
first will be to chip material. The second will be to pick up material
they are not able to chip. Any material placed on the streets after they
have passed your neighborhood will be your responsibility to remove. It
also should be noted that the chipped material will be stored at the City
Garage site on Country Drive and will be available for pickup by residents
of the City for their personal use.
We also want to offer our sincere thanks to Servants of Mary of Little
Canada Bingo Hall for their donation of the full cost of this service.
If you have any questions regarding this procedure, please call us at
484-2177.
Page 14
