■
Second Distribution
SURVEY
TO: Residents of North Star Mobile Home Park
As you may know, the City Council of Little Canada has been attempting
to address the storm shelter needs for your mobile home park. Various
alternatives to address this issue have been explored by the City
including the submission of a grant application for funding construction
of a storm shelter within the Park. However, this application was denied
by Ramsey County and therefore another solution needs to be explored. The
options being considered are:
-Use of the Ramsey County Public Works Garage (at no cost to Park
tenants).
- Construction of a storm shelter within the Park at an estimated cost
of 580,000 to 5100,000 which would be passed on to the tenants in the
form of additional monthly rent. (We estimate the additional rent
per tenant to be between $10 and 520 per month for approximately
three to five years depending on the actual construction and
financing costs.)
In considering the alternatives available, the City Council of Little
Canada would like your input. We are asking that you complete this survey
and return it to the City Hall by April 4, 1990.
Second Distribution
Your cooperation in completing and returning this survey is
appreciated.
