Mr. Joel Hanson <br />City Administrator <br />Little Canada City Hall <br />515 East Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, Minnesota <br />55117 <br />Mr. Hanson, <br />With the recent resignation on the park board, I would like you <br />to consider me for appointment of the position available. <br />I have been a resident of Little Canada since the mid 1940's. <br />Our family lived at 222 Little Canada Road and I attended District 3 <br />Elementary School, Cleveland Junior High, and Alexander Ramsey High <br />School. I currently reside at 2442 Rice Street. <br />As you may know, . our organization, Servants of Mary, Inc. has <br />been a strong supporter of the Little Canada park development programs. <br />As administrative director of the organization, and on behalf of the <br />members of our organization, I would like very much to have an <br />opportunity to actively participate and contribute in the planning <br />and beautification of the area parks. <br />I feel my input as a resident living west of the freeway will <br />also be an asset to the commission. <br />4 <br />It is my desire to see the farm land I worked on as a child be <br />developed into a park system that will be enjoyed by many for years <br />to come. <br />I appreciate your consideration. <br />nk <br />Sherman <br />PAGE 124 <br />
