The exterior <br />walls are made up of brick stone. An attached garage was removed for <br />the purpose of transport. It is my understanding that a new garage <br />would be built. Some corrections that must be made to meet the life <br />safety requirements are as follows: <br />* Bedroom windows must be the minimum of 5.7 sq. ft. fully <br />openable. <br />* Smoke detectors must be provided within location of the <br />bedrooms (hardwired). <br />* Handrails must be installed in stairways. <br />* New foundations - the minimum of 42" frost line must meet <br />the energy code R -10. <br />* If garage is attached the foundation must also meet frost <br />line. <br />* A complete new roof must be provided. <br />* All plumbing, electrical and mechanical must meet code. <br />* Landscaping shall be provided prior to occupancy of the <br />dwelling. <br />* Certificate of Survey required to show placement of single <br />family dwelling and easements. <br />With attention to these items and after the corrections that must be <br />made, I believe that the house could meet life safety requirements <br />without any hardship and could be relocated in the area of County <br />Road D and LaBore Road. <br />JP:bj <br />,. .Page 41 <br />
