CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Office of:
JOEL R. HANSON, Administrator
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
612- 484 -2177
FAX: 612-484-4538
October 3, 1990
Mr. & Mrs. Angelo Scalze
469 Allen Avenue
Little Canada, MN 55117'
MAYOR
Michael Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
8111 Blesener
Risk Collova
Jlm LaValle
RE: Slumberland Water Main Project, No. 90 -10
DeSoto Street Right -of -Way
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Scalze:
Pursuant to our conversation of October 1, 1990, I am hereby writing
to confirm the details of our discussion. They are as follows:
* A ten foot permanent, utility easement is needed on your
property described as Lot 15, Block 2, Gervais Heights
Addition, City of Little Canada.
* The City will pay you $620.00 for this permanent
easement. This price was arrived at utilizing the
amount paid for another permanent easement related to
the Centre Place project in 1990. The price per square
foot is slightly higher than .63 cents.
* The City will make reasonable efforts to move the small
oak tree in the vicinity of your west property line. No
guarantees are made regarding the future life of this
tree.
* Reasonable efforts will also be made to improve drainage
at the culvert on the intersection of Allen and DeSoto.
Specifically, the pipe will be cleaned out, reinstalled,
and a swale cut on the west end of the pipe to an
appropriate drainage outlet.
* Drainage along your west property line will be restored
to present conditions.
* The property will be restored by grading and sodding /or
seeding depending on weather conditions.
e 53
