We are
seeking cost participation from Little Canada on both of them.
The first project is the construction of a manhole on County Ditch 7B
approximately 50 feet east of Payne Ave. on County Road D. On the
south side of County Road D, there is an open junction where three
pipes come together. Additionally, the is a pipe about 10 feet to
the west which always drains into this open junction area. This area
is very close to the road and is a traffic hazard. We proposed to
build a block structure around these pipes. See the enclosed sketch.
The estimated cost for materials is $1200.
The second project is in front of 2561 Edgerton (about 1/4 mile south
of Little Canada Road). There is a low area in the front yard which
collects road runoff and drains through the yard to Lake Gervais. We
proposed to install a surface drain and connect it to the storm sewer
line under Edgerton St. See the enclosed sketch. The estimated cost
for materials is $800.
Our maintenance forces will be constructing both of these projects
this fall. We are seeking city funding assistance with the materials.
Please give me a call at 482 -5222 after you have had a chance to
review these projects.
Kathy Roe .t•er
Assistant Environmental Services Engineer
Enclosures
cc Cliff Aichinger
Ramsey Washington Watershed Management Organization
Page 7
