MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
NOVEMBER 8, 1990
PLANNING The Commission discussed some upcoming planning
SEMINARS seminars with Pedersen informing the Commission that
Council has authorized the Commissioners' attendance at
a seminar.
ADJOURN
In reference to the seminar on updating comprehensive
plans, DeLonais did not feel the City could afford to
update its Comprehensive Plan at this time.
Drabik stated that she would like to see the City's
existing Comprehensive Plan used as a tool. Drabik did
not believe the Comprehensive Plan was being used as
far as residential development and quality of life were
concerned.
The City Planner stated that when the City's
Comprehensive Plan was developed, there were large
areas of undeveloped property in the City. This
property has since been developed, and now the real
focus for Little Canada would be redevelopment.
DeLonais recommended the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Pedersen.
Motion carried 6 - 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned at 8:57 P.M.
Respectfully ubmitted,
/
N
Kathy Glanzer
Recording Secretary
Page 10
