The developer stated that a nice - looking office /showroom building would not detract from the residential uses in the area. Bachmeier pointed out that residents of the area would be able to enjoy the site since there would be a new City street that could be used for walking. Bendel pointed out that it has been his experience that the residents near the St. Jude's development have no problems being adjacent to this development. There was no one else from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Garske recommended approval of the rezoning from R -1 to Planned Unit Development, concept stage PUD and Plan Review for the office /warehouse development proposed by the Bachmeier Corporation for the property located at 177 East County Road B subject to the recommendations of the City Planner as contained in his report dated November 5, 1990. Motion seconded by Pedersen. Motion carried 4 - 1. DeLonais voted against. SLUMBERLAND Mr. John Fitzgerald, representing Slumberland, appeared ZERO LOT before the Commission requesting approval of a zero lot LINE DIVISION line subdivision. Fitzgerald reported that the property division is being requested for financing purposes. Slumberland is seeking separate financing on their addition, and as a result the bank is requesting separate parcels. DeLonais asked if paving has been completed and whether the addition is occupied. Fitzgerald replied that the addition is complete and a certificate of occupancy has been issued. However, Fitzgerald was not sure whether the asphalt had been completed. DeLonais recommended approval of the Slumberland zero lot line subdivision as requested subject to the recommendations of the City Planner as contained in his report dated November 6, 1990.
