Fire Department <br />inlet connections to the standpipe system shall be <br />provided at the Northeast corner land the Southwest corner <br />of the building. Any pump required to maintain residual <br />pressure requirements within the system shall be provided <br />by Fire Department equipment connected to the inlet <br />connections. Standpipe system is shown on attached <br />Exhibit A. <br />B. Install automatic sprinklers in all exit corridors. <br />Install wall mounted automatic sprinkler system in lieu <br />of fire stops in the floor ceiling assemblies above walls <br />separating apartments from each other and separating <br />apartments from other areas. Said wall mounted <br />sprinklers shall be installed on each side of a party <br />wall separating two apartments and on the apartment side <br />of a corridor wall. Each wall mounted sprinkler head <br />installed under the above listed scope of work shall <br />comply with the 1989 addition of N.F.P.A. standard 13R <br />for apartment building occupancy for distances separating <br />said sprinkler heads. Each apartment with automatic <br />sprinklers installed shall be supplied by a minimum of <br />2 supply runs into each dwelling unit. A single <br />sprinkler supply pipe supporting sprinkler heads on each <br />side of a party wall shall constitute a separate supply <br />run for each apartment being served by the sprinkler <br />Page 2 <br />Page 14 <br />
