In those floor ceiling assemblies above said <br />walls where a wall mounted automatic sprinkler system is <br />not feasible, fire stops shall be installed of materials <br />not less than 1./2 inch gypsum board, 3/8 inch plywood, <br />3/8 inch type 2 -M particle board or other approved <br />material adequately supported. The Owner reserves the <br />right to construct a full sprinkler system with a single <br />sprinkler supply run to each apartment in lieu of the <br />party wall sprinkler installation listed above. Such an <br />installation shall be in substantial compliance with the <br />1989 addition of N.F.P.A. standard 13R for apartment <br />building occupancy limited only by the location of <br />existing walls. Sprinkler heads shall not be required <br />in bathrooms in the existing construction or in "reach - <br />in" closets throughout. <br />C. The existing 2 zones per apartment level fire alarm <br />system will be replaced with a single zone for each fire <br />section which will result in 7 zones for the apartment <br />areas. The garage shall remain "as -is" with 2 zones. <br />D. Vehicular paved access to the courtyard shall be provided <br />with 14 foot clear width between structure walls by 14 <br />foot (minimum) high clearance as shown on attached <br />Exhibit B.
