MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />August 9, 1990 <br />Drabik commented on the discussion by the City Council <br />regarding the Commission's recommendation with regard <br />to the Frattalone recycling operation. <br />Herkenhoff stated that he was offended by the Council's <br />criticism. Herkenhoff pointed out that the Commission <br />is a recommending body to the Council, and he did not <br />feel that criticism was warranted just because the <br />Council disagreed with the Commission's recommendation. <br />Pederson recommended approval of the ordinance amending <br />Section 914 of the Little Canada Zoning Ordinance <br />relating to prohibiting stockpiling and recycling of <br />aggregate materials in the I -1, Light Industrial Zoning <br />District. <br />Motion seconded by Garske. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />LIGHT RAIL DeLonais noted the information he submitted to the <br />TRANSIT Commission on the issue of light rail transit. <br />DeLonais asked for any input the Commission members <br />might have on this issue. <br />WORKSHOP <br />ADJOURN <br />It was the concensus of the Commission to hold a <br />workshop meeting at 6:30 P.M. prior to their next <br />regular meeting on September 13th to discuss goals. <br />Bendel reported that he would be out -of -town on <br />September 13th. <br />DeLonais recommended the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion seconded by Drabik. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:06 P.M. <br />Resp- ctfull, submitted, <br />Kathy lanzer <br />Recording Secretary <br />Page 9 <br />
