MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />August 9, 1990 <br />Bendel reported that DeLonais recommended tabling of <br />the Boosalis development in the past because of lack of <br />information on drainage, etc. Bendel stated that he <br />did not feel the Commission had enough information on <br />the Costa preliminary plat. <br />DeLonais pointed out that there was a lot of opposition <br />to the Boosalis project, and this is not the case with <br />the Costa plat. <br />DeLonais recommended approval of the Costa Estates <br />preliminary plat subject to Noel Drive running through <br />to Allen Avenue on the north and LaBore Road on the <br />south with the requirement of a walkway easement from <br />Noel Drive to Desoto Street, and with the requirement <br />of resubmission of the preliminary plat to the Planning <br />Commission should it not be possible to run Noel Drive <br />all the way through so that the Commission can study <br />the issue of cross streets. <br />Motion seconded by Herkenhoff. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0 - 1. Costa abstained. <br />STRECKER The Commission reviewed the application submitted by <br />PROPERTY Mr. Edward Strecker, 329 Savage Lane for the division <br />DIVISION of his property into two lots. The Cith Planner has <br />recommended approval of the property division. <br />There was no one present wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />DeLonais recommended approval of the division of the <br />Strecker property located at 329 Savage Lane into two <br />lots based on the recommendation of the City Planner as <br />contained in his report dated August 3, 1990. <br />Motion seconded by Bendel. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />ZONING The Commission reviewed the proposed Zoning Ordinance <br />ORDINANCE amendment making aggregate recycling a prohibited use. <br />AMENDMENT The City Planner reported that this issue has arisen <br />as a result of the Frattalone bituminous recycling <br />operation. The Planner reported that his office had <br />concern that the Code was ambiguous on this matter, <br />therefore, he is recommending the zoning ordinance <br />amendment be adopted. <br />Page 8 <br />
