This information was obtained from the records <br />available to us. <br />Some additional information that I would like you to be <br />aware of prior to this discussion at Wednesday's meeting is <br />as follows: <br />* Developer is proposing that additional <br />right -of -way for DeSoto Street be gained from <br />Pioneer Park land. I have informed him that this <br />would be a policy decision for the City Council to <br />make and that if the Council was agreeable to the <br />dedication of this park land, some type of <br />rebate /compensation situation for the value of <br />this land would have to be included in the <br />assessment analysis. <br />* As indicated on Mike's report, we are recommending <br />the City pay its fair share of street improvement <br />costs for DeSoto Street. With this <br />recommendation, the Council must keep in mind the <br />financial impact of absorbing the street <br />assessment costs.
