MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />August 9, 1990 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br />August, 1990 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Robert Pedersen called the meeting to order at 7:30 <br />P.M. and the following members of the Commission were <br />present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Robert Pedersen, Chairman <br />Dave Bendel <br />Peter Costa <br />Gene DeLonais <br />Claudia Drabik <br />Steve Garske <br />Art Herkenhoff <br />ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Kathy Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />MINUTES There being no corrections to the minutes of the July <br />12, 1990 meeting, the minutes stood approved as read. <br />COSTA Mr. Bob DeBace appeared before the Commission and <br />PRELIMINARY presented the preliminary plat of Costa Estates. <br />PLAT DeBace described the drainage of the plat pointing out <br />that drainage will flow to the west into a 36 -inch <br />storm sewer on DeSoto. DeBace reported that the City <br />Engineer has stated that the existing 36 -inch storm <br />sewer is large enough to handle the run -off. <br />DeBace reported that the City Engineer has indicated <br />that the City should participate in their share of <br />street improvement costs for DeSoto. DeBace felt that <br />the City should dedicate the necessary road <br />right -of -way on their side of the road since the Costa <br />side has already donated 33 feet of road right -of -way. <br />There is only 17 feet of additional right -of -way needed <br />from the City. <br />DeBace reported that watermain has been assessed on <br />Page 1 <br />
