easement and chose to be paid the cost of the appraisal ($950.00) and reimbursement <br />at a square foot cost of the other residential appraisal in the future. <br />We have had numerous conversations with the Church regarding the sidewalk easement <br />necessary at the corner of McMenemy Street and Little Canada Road due to the addition <br />of the right turn lane and they have expressed a willingness to work with the City in <br />granting that easement. The addition of the trail connection work on the north side of <br />Little Canada Road that was bid as an alternate to the base bid does impact a small <br />portion of the Church parking lot property north of Little Canada Road. We will be <br />preparing an easement document for that piece of property and working with the Church <br />for its approval as well. In our meetings with the Church we have discussed whether <br />compensation for the easements would be through a payment or an assessment <br />reduction, but no final method has been determined. <br />At this time we are asking the Council to accept the easements that have been granted <br />and approve granting of the easement on the City owned parking lot for the underground <br />Xcel service.
