SECTION 31 - EMPLOYEE /COUNCIL SUNSHINE FUND <br />The following are the criteria established for an Employee /Council Sunshine Fund to cover <br />instances such as weddings, hospitalizations, funerals, etc. of regular full -time and regular part - <br />time employees and Council Members. Each regular full -time and regular part -time employee, <br />as well as Council Members, will he asked to donate $10 to the Fund initially, which will be <br />administered as outlined below. We are anticipating collecting to replenish the fund at the time <br />its balance falls below $50. The amount of future contributions will be determined based on our <br />experience with the Fund. <br />SUNSHINE GIFTS: <br />$25.00 - Weddings (Cash) <br />$25.00 - Baby (Cash) <br />$25-.40 $50.00 - Hospitalization <br />(Flowers) <br />$33,89 $50.00 - Memorial or Flowers <br />Employee /Council Member Only <br />Gift for Baby (Incl. adoptions) <br />Employee /Council Member /Spouse <br />(Must be hospitalized for a minimum of 3 days - <br />does not include childbirth or hospitalization for <br />tests.) <br />Death of Employee, Council Member, or member <br />of immediate family (Spouse, children, parents, or <br />parents -in -law) <br />Please Note: It is our recommendation that <br />Memorials for past Employees or past Council <br />Members as well as their immediate family, as <br />outlined above, consist of a card only. <br />$15.00 Resi_natio <br />$25.00 - Resignation <br />$50.00 - Retirement <br />y <br />erv-iee <br />Employees with 3 10 years service or more <br />Employees with minimum of 10 years employment <br />with the City and at least 55 years of age. <br />
