Records required <br />by this subsection must be stored and maintained by <br />the licensee for a period of at least three years. <br />817.200. Daily Reports. For the following items, <br />regardless of resale price, a secondhand goods dealer or <br />pawnbroker must make out, on forms approved by the appropriate <br />law enforcement agency, and send daily by mail to the <br />appropriate law enforcement agency, a legible description of the <br />goods received during the preceding day, together with the time <br />received and a description of the person from whom the goods <br />were received: <br />(A) items with a serial number identification, or <br />"operation identification" symbol; <br />(3) cameras; <br />(C) electronic audio or video equipment,; <br />(D) precious jewelry or gems, and precious metals; <br />(E) artist - signed or artist - attributed works of art: <br />(F) guns and firearms; and <br />(G) items not included in the above, except furniture and <br />kitchen or laundry appliances. <br />817.210. Stolen Goods. A licensed pawnbroker or <br />secondhand goods dealer must report immediately to the <br />appropriate law enforcement agency any article pledged or <br />received, or sought to be pledged or received, if the licensee <br />has reason to believe that the article was stolen or lost. <br />817.220. T3oldincr., An item received by a secondhand goods <br />dealer or pawnbroker, for which a report to the appropriate law <br />enforcement agency is required, may not be sold or otherwise <br />transferred for a period of 30 days after the date of such <br />report to the appropriate law enforcement agency. Pawned goods <br />will be subject to the four month redemption period. However, <br />an individual may redeem an item pawned 72 hours after the item <br />was received on deposit, excluding Sundays and legal holidays. <br />-.8- <br />Page 30 <br />
