Hanson <br />In researching City records, I cannot find any documentation <br />that the park dedication that was required of the Yorkton <br />Industrial Park plat was ever recorded. I discussed this matter <br />with Larry Lee, who informed me that he deeded over the park <br />dedication to the City. However, these deeds cannot be located <br />and City plat maps do not show the dedication. <br />It appears that this park property is included in the piece <br />currently in the process of being platted as Yorkton Ridge <br />West. Therefore, as part of the plat the City may want to <br />require that Yorkton Industrial Park park dedication be <br />finalized, although not counted as the park dedication that <br />would normally be required of Yorkton Ridge West. <br />Please Note: At its May 17th meeting, the Park Commission <br />recommended that the Council require the park <br />dedication that was to have been part of the <br />Yorkton Industrial Park plat as part of the <br />Yorkton Ridge West plat, in addition to a park <br />charge of $400 per single - family home to be <br />collected at the time of building permit <br />application. <br />Page 31 <br />
