MUTES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARR COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 20, 1991 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Park Commission of the City of Little <br />Canada, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of June, <br />1991 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located <br />at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Ken Wehrle called the meeting to order at 7:30 <br />P.M. and the following members of the Commission were <br />present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Ken Wehrle <br />Mr. Bill Bruce <br />Mr. Joe Fasciana <br />Mr. Jack Fitzgerald <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Ms. Jan Sherman <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Ms. Nancy Zoch <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Bill Sanders, Park Consultant <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary <br />There being no corrections, the minutes of May 16, 1991 <br />stood approved as read. <br />VACATION OF Mr. Ron Carlson, owner of Lot 10 on Burke Lane, <br />BURKE LANE appeared before the Commission wishing to discuss <br />EASEMENT the City easement which runs adjacent to his property. <br />Carlson reported that he plans to construct a house on <br />his lot, however, due to the dimensions of the lot, he <br />would have to set the house back approximately 125 feet <br />from the street. Carlson reported that he discussed <br />with the City Planner the possibility of vacation of <br />the easement alongside his property. The Planner <br />informed him that the City had retained the easement <br />waiting to see how the property along Country Drive <br />developed. Carlson reported that City staff also <br />informed him about discussion of use of the easement as <br />access to a walking trail that is proposed on the Water <br />Works property. Carlson reported that before he makes <br />formal application for the vacation, he would like to <br />know the Park Commission's position on the easement. <br />Page 33 <br />
