MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
JULY 11, 1991
GARDNER
BROS. SIGN
60 LITTLE
CANADA ROAD
FENCE
NEW
PEDERSEN
PARK MASTER
PLAN
ADJOURN
Keis asked the status of the Gardner Bros. sign
structure which was damaged a year ago in a storm.
The City Planner reported that the City has informed
Gardner Bros. that the structure must be removed.
However, the matter is still pending.
Herkenhoff again asked the status of the fence at
60 East Little Canada Road.
DeLonais reported that he has a copy of a letter the
City Administrator sent to the Mayor in which he
indicates that the fence is conforming to City Code
requirements. DeLonais stated that he would provide
Herkenhoff a copy of this letter.
DeLonais stated that in the case of the Marche fence,
he does not believe a residential fence should be
higher than 4 feet in a front yard.
Garske suggested that the fence may make the house
blend into the surrounding business area.
Herkenhoff asked how the fence at 60 East Little Canada
Road got constructed without approval of the Planning
Commission. Herkenhoff questioned how the fence is
conforming to City Code. Herkenhoff stated that he
wanted to see some justification that it was
conforming.
The Commissioners congratulated Bob Pedersen on the
birth of his new son on Tuesday, July 9th.
The Commissioners again asked when the Park Master
Plan will be referred to them for their review and
recommendation.
Keis recommended the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Drabik.
Motion carried 6 - 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned at 8:55 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
C
Kathy G
nzer, Recor' ing Secretary
Page 10
