After we discussed this matter with the City Council we <br />continued to conduct extensive negotiations with the attorney <br />for the insurance company. <br />We are extremely pleased to advise you that this case has <br />been settled for $4,000.00. Therefore, please find enclosed a <br />check payable to the order of the City of Little Canada in that <br />amount, together with a Release of All Claims which should be <br />signed by the Mayor and you. I would assume that the signing of <br />the Release should be authorized by Council action. Would you <br />then please return to me the completed Release, after retaining <br />a copy of the same for your file.
