MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 13, 1991 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of <br />June, 1991 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Gene DeLonais <br />Steve Garske <br />Art Herkenhoff <br />John Keis <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />Dave Bendel <br />Claudia Drabik <br />Bob Pedersen <br />ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary <br />MINUTES There being no corrections to the minutes of the May 9, <br />1991 meeting, the minutes stood approved as read. <br />FREDERICKS- Gordie Howe appeared before the Commission requesting <br />HAVEN FINAL approval of the final plat for Frederickshaven. Howe <br />PLAT pointed out that the final plat includes the extension <br />of Sunrise Drive with five single - family lots. The <br />remainder of the property will be platted as an outlot <br />for possible development next year. <br />DeLonais reviewed the letter received from Bob Johnson, <br />owner of a lot adjacent to the existing Sunrise Drive <br />cul -de -sac. Mr. Johnson is requesting when the street <br />is extended and the existing cul -de -sac removed, his <br />lot be allowed to develop with a house having a 25 foot <br />front yard setback, similar to the other homes in the <br />area. <br />The City Planner reported that the houses along Sunrise <br />Drive have 25 foot front yard setbacks. The standard <br />front yard setback is 30 feet. Therefore, Mr. Johnson <br />Page 1 <br />
