MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JUNE 13, 1991 <br />will need to apply for a variance. However, the <br />Planner felt approval of such a variance would be <br />likely given the similar setbacks in the neighborhood. <br />Mr. Herkenhoff recommended approval of the <br />Frederickshaven final plat as submitted by Gordie Howe <br />subject to the recommendations of the City Planner as <br />contained in his report dated June 10, 1991. <br />Motion seconded by Keis. <br />Motion carried 4 - 0. <br />COSTA Mr. Bob DeBace appeared before the Commission <br />ESTATES requesting approval of the final plat for Costa <br />FINAL PLAT Estates. DeBace pointed out that the final plat has <br />been revised to show both the northern and southern <br />portions of street that will eventually extend into <br />Costa Lane. <br />DeBace reported that the final plat is currently being <br />reviewed by the Ramsey County.Recorder's'Office. <br />DeLonais asked why the right -of -way for the northern <br />street connection to Costa Lane was 60 feet in width. <br />DeBace replied that this was done at the City's request <br />in order to give the last house on DeSoto Street, which <br />now becomes a corner lot, adequate setback from the <br />street. <br />Mr. Keis recommended approval of the final plat for <br />Costa Estates as submitted by Mr. Bob DeBace subject to <br />the recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in <br />his report dated June 10, 1991. <br />Motion seconded by Herkenhoff. <br />Motion carried 4 - 0. <br />FLOOD PLAIN The City Planner reported that the DNR is requiring the <br />ORDINANCE City to update its Flood Plain Ordinance. A draft of <br />the update has been submitted to the DNR for their <br />review, and the Planner reported that he is waiting for <br />Page 2 <br />
