Hanson <br />RE: Amendment to Joint Powers Agreement with the City of <br />Maplewood <br />Attached is an amendment to our Joint Powers Agreement for <br />water and sewer system usage with the City of Maplewood. <br />This amendment was initiated by us in order to address the <br />Schroeder Milk situation whereby maintenance and <br />responsibility for cost associated with lost water and main <br />repair are assigned. With this agreement, Maplewood is now <br />assuming that responsibility. This will allow us to modify <br />the Schroeder water connection agreement and hopefully get <br />that executed in the foreseeable future. <br />It is my recommendation that we adopt the amendment as <br />proposed subject to comments by the City Attorney. <br />JRH:kpv <br />Enclosure <br />Page 74 <br />
