Hamlin Avenue • Roseville, MN 55113 (612) 484 -1335 DONALD SALVERDA is President of Donald Salverda & Associates, a consulting firm that provides services and materials to business and industry, government, professional organizations, and education in the areas of team building, leadership, and management development. Combining an academic background in engineering with over twenty -five years of practical experience in the private, public, and volunteer sectors in a var- iety of roles and settings, Don has gained a unique and broad perspective of the challenges facing organizations and individuals. He is highly respected for his leadership ability, his commitment of service to people, and as an 'expert' in the field of human resource development, where he has been professionally involved for over twenty years. Don is Past President of the Sales and Marketing Executives of Minneapolis, the Roseville - Falcon Heights Chamber of Commerce, the North Suburban Gavel Assoc- iation, the Association of MN Counties, and the Ramsey County League of Local Governments. He has served on a number of Boards and Commissions, includ- ing Volunteers For Minnesota and the St Paul- Ramsey Medical Center Commission. He continues to remain active, currently serving on the Boards of Directors of the Indianhead Council of Boy Scouts, the Ramsey Foundation, and the North Suburban Community Foundation. He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and Rotary International. Don is currently in his fifth term of service on the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners, a position he has been elected to since 1974. Professionally, Don has taught a number of personal and professional develop- ment classes. He has been conducting team building, leadership and manage- ment workshops and retreats for over fifteen years for both the private and public sectors, ranging from half day to three days in length. Don has established a reputation as a highly effective workshop and retreat facilitator.
