We strive to
implement distinctive and effective methods for
serving individual and community housing needs
by integrating the goals and skills of a
developer, property manager, human service
provider, and community organizer.
Presently, we serve more than 4,600 low- income
people including families, seniors and disabled
persons by managing 2,600 rental units at 41
sites in 21 Minnesota communities. Our goal
over the next five years is to acquire or
develop 2,500 additional units, serve 10,000
more parents, children, seniors and disabled
people and expand our resident services and
training activities.
THE WESTMINSTER APPROACH
TO HOUSING AND HUMAN SERVICES
o Establish a community -based ownership
entity to oversee housing management
operations and the provision of human
support services at each site.
o Preserve and assure the long -term
availability and affordability of housing
for current and future low- income
residents through acquisition or
development.
o Provide management based on sound business
principles with a special sensitivity to
the needs and concerns of the residents.
o Coordinate and provide appropriate
resident support services.
o Educate and train residents to nurture
self - reliance, cultivate individual
responsibility and encourage greater
participation by the people in the
community.
An Af filiate of the
Archdiocec. of Saira Paut and Nlinruapolis
328 West Kellogg Boulevard • St. Paul, Minnesota 55102 • (612) 291 -1750 • Fax (612) 2914003
AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITYIAFFIRMATIVE ACTION ORGANIZATION Page 2
