Ms. Andre McNeill
January 16, 1991
Page 2
Information related to this order is as follows:
* Hazardous Building Site.
* Address: 2558 Rice Street.
* Structure Inspected: January 16, 1991.
* Principle Use: Single Family Dwelling
* Detached Garage.
* Zoned: B -3 General Business.
* PINS: 07- 29 -22 -22 -0067 and 07- 29 -22 -22 -0068
* Owner: Ms. Andre McNeill
* Owner's Address: 5261 - 165th Street
Hugo, MN 55038
* No occupants in the building.
* Construction of Building: Wood Frame, 2 -Story
Due to the abandonment of the home, there is no evidence of
a heating plant. Also, due to the poor condition of the
building in its dilapidated state, some windows are boarded
up and some windows in the rear are open so that people can
gain entry to the structure which could cause a hazard.
The condition of the foundation and roof is poor. Other
hazardous conditions of the building are as follows.
Specifically, the particular defects which make the
building hazardous are:
* The building has been abandoned for approximately
three to four years.
* The exterior of the buildings are in dilapidated
condition.
* The exterior of the building are open to the
public which would cause physical damage or a fire
hazard.
* No records of well abandonment have been given to
the City by a licensed well contractor.
* Sewer system records indicate that no sewer system
was made available by the owner. The sewer system
must be properly abandoned.
* The water closet, lavatory, bath tubs and kitchen
sink are open to the disposal system.
* The foundation and floor supports in the building
are deteriorating.
* Ceiling and walls are inadequately maintained and
in a dilapidated condition.
Page 32
