MINUTES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 14, 1991 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of <br />October, 1991 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Dave Bendel <br />Ms. Claudia Drabik <br />Mr. Steve Garske <br />Mr. Art Herkenhoff (arr. 8:50 P.M.) <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the <br />October 10th Planning Commission meeting, those minutes <br />stand approved as read. <br />COMP LAND The City Planner reviewed discussion at the last <br />USE PLAN Commission meeting regarding amending the Comprehensive <br />LITTLE Land Use Plan to show the north side of the Little <br />CANADA Canada Road area along Round Lake as open space. <br />ROAD AREA The Planner noted that as part of that discussion the <br />Commission had asked the value of the property in this <br />area as well as the amount of property taxes the area <br />generates. The Planner reported that there is a total <br />valuation of $550,300 for the taxable property on <br />Little Canada Road along Round Lake. That property <br />generates a total of $7,444 in property taxes, of which <br />the City receives $1,138. Three of the nine taxable <br />properties are in poor shape, and the valuation of <br />those three properties is $130,000. <br />The Planner noted that at the last meeting the <br />consensus was to designate the area as future open <br />Page 1 <br />
