J <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TEMPORARY OUTDOOR SALES /DISPLAYS <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada ordains: <br />Section 1 <br />Chapter 800 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little Canada is <br />hereby amended to add Section 818 as follows: <br />818. TEMPORARY OUTDOOR SALES /DISPLAYS <br />818.010. DEFINITION. Temporary outdoor sales /displays for the <br />purpose of this Chapter, shall be defined to be one- <br />time sidewalk sales, Christmas tree sales, seasonal <br />supply sales, special event sales conducted by the <br />operators of a legitimate established business within <br />the appropriate zoning district in the City of Little <br />Canada. <br />818.020. LICENSE. No, person or business shall engage in the <br />operation of temporary outdoor sales /displays on their <br />premises without first procuring a license to engage in <br />such business as herein provided. <br />818.030. APPLICATION, FEE AND LICENSE PERIOD. Application for a <br />temporary outdoor sales /displays license shall be made <br />to the Clerk of the City on a form to be provided by <br />the Clerk. Each person or business may be issued only <br />two such permits per year. Each permit to be valid for <br />a consecutive two week period only. The fee for such <br />license shall be dollars per permit. <br />818.040. OPERATION LOCATION. The applicant shall specify in <br />what location on the premises he desires to operate the <br />outdoor sales area. No license shall be issued unless <br />the property upon which the business is to be conducted <br />is located within those zoning districts which also <br />allow permanent outdoor sales /displays as provided for <br />in the Little Canada Zoning Ordinance. All manner of <br />operation, parking of vehicles, protection, screening, <br />sales area, vehicular access shall be in compliance <br />with the Zoning Ordinance. <br />818.050. RESPONSIBILITY OF OPERATION. Any licensee hereunder <br />shall be held responsible for nuisances emanating from <br />the licensed operation and the licensee shall not <br />permit debris or any other kinds of waste or debris <br />from said business to be deposited on any public or <br />private property or on the licensee's own property. <br />Page 66 <br />
