POSITION TITLE: Parks, Recreation & Forestry Director DATE: January 1982 <br />Unusual Problems (continued) <br />- How to implement a new personnel pay system. <br />- How to negotiate real estate purchases. <br />- How to design and implement a bikeway maintenance system. <br />- How to interface with other governmental agency major emphasis change such as <br />community education concept. <br />- Act as host and coordinate official City celebrations. <br />- Develop and administer a Diseased Tree Control Program. <br />J. WORK ENVIRONIENT <br />Work is most frequently performed in an office environment. There is a consider- <br />able amount of time needed for meetings away from the City offices and in the <br />evening. Work involves field inspections at various park sites. Work is per- <br />formed in the following locations: office, motorized vehicle, school buildings, <br />other governmental agency offices, park sites, public places, churches, restau- <br />rants, meeting rooms, etc. <br />K. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS <br />Assigned tasks are generally carried out while seated at a desk. <br />L.
