Your efforts, over the past eight months, in reviewing and commenting on information on the Northeast Corridor Alignment Study have provided the RCRRA with valuable citizen insights and perspectives on this project. The Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority is committed to a strong community participation program because decision — makers benefit from hearing the suggestions of many people with diverse views and suggestions from the public improve planning and implementation of projects. The recommendations of the Northeast Corridor Task Force will be considered carefully as the RCRRA makes decisions on an alignment in the Northeast Corridor. The draft report will be distributed in late March to individuals and groups involved or interested in the project. An additional component of the community participation program is a public review period for the draft report which will include a public hearing on May 23.
