As you will see, I have amended Sections 702.-030 1and
703.040 to include language requiring dram shop insurance of not
less than $300,000.00 aggregate per policy. The language added
to these two sections is taken verbatim from Minn. Stat. Section
340A.409, Subdivision 1. The aggregate limits would cover the
100,000 - 300,000 coverage discussed at the Council meeting on
March 27, 1991.
Would you please review the enclosed to determine if any
additional deletions or additions are necessary. Assuming the
enclosed is acceptable, we have prepared a Resolution
authorizing publication and Summary of the ordinance, which is
also enclosed for adoption by the City Council.
If anyone has any questions relative to this matter, please
contact the undersigned.
TMS:lmg
Enclosure
Yours very truly,
SWEENEY & BORER
/Thomas M.
